STATEMENT OF CANDIDATE FOR MEMBER OF CITY COUNCIL

MICHAEL HUDSON AGE: 48

Occupation: Suisun City Councilmember / Businessman

As your Suisun City Councilmember, resident and successful business owner, I have worked to make Suisun City the success and jewel of the Bay Area that it is.

My commitment, leadership, and community involvement in Suisun City is well-proven - Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee, Suisun City Business Group, Suisun City Waterfront Business Improvement District, Community Action Council, and Chamber of Commerce.

I served my country in the United States Navy for over 10 years, submarine qualified, honorably discharged, and veteran of the first Gulf War, holding positions of trust and responsibility.

Since joining Suisun City Council, my focus has been on fixing streets, developing the business community, improving quality of life, and most importantly keeping a balanced budget. Suisun City has a new library, hotel, restaurants, and after-school programs.

My vision for Suisun City is of a prosperous, thriving community with safe neighborhoods and schools, a bustling downtown with a vibrant Waterfront District surrounded by dining and entertainment opportunities and balancing economic growth while keeping the character of Suisun City.
